It just happened again. This time 17 of our girls got scholarship funds for the 2020 Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) Examination. All thanks to our generous donor and mentor. May God bless you more abundantly!

Global Girl Project: The Making of Change makers

For six weeks, some girls in Ijegun Community had been given a life-long opportunity to learn from home and abroad, being part of the Global Girl Project, a partnership with Bestspring Foundation. The girls took part in the Blended Learning Leadership Initiative having gone through different stages of training on topics such as: Who Is A Leader Roles of Leaders Women who have made an impact and changes within their community. Mastering the Art of Listening, Speaking & Writing.   Online Research on a Movements in Nigeria e.g. Occupy Nigeria. Knowing your Environment and all that it entails, asking parents, leaders all around and brainstorming on the Project of Change they intend to work on. WATFON Taught Me to Love, Think and Reform Nigeria!

My experience at WATFON is something I cannot express totally in paper because it was purely transformational. I never thought I will ever have the opportunity to visit such a beautiful place of interest. It was indeed a wonderful day for me. Although, my journey to the WATFON venue was a bit stressful, at least I got there on time. Upon entering into the hall of event, what I saw totally breathtaking! I saw so many students from different schools with their beautiful, colourful and well ironed uniforms. The staffs, the people, the lights especially the chandeliers were so attractive. Moreso, the convener Mrs. Yinka Ogunde was so warm and friendly. I was surprised to see her in person.
